My own company operates without an HR department and embraces straightforward communication instead of political correctness. Throughout my journey, I’ve had many clients, but one stood out from the rest. I had been collaborating with Wayne for a year without ever meeting him face-to-face; our interactions were solely through phone calls, faxes, and a mountain of details to manage. Wayne was exceedingly particular about every aspect, from the imprint size to the PMS colors of the GlobeGround logo—he questioned everything. 

Then came the request for 'the globe,' a $1.00 globe. Naturally, a sample was needed, and as expected, Wayne was concerned about the imprint area. I explained that it measured 8.5 inches. Once the sample was delivered, I received a call from Wayne. He sounded annoyed and pointed out, 'I received the sample, and I don't think the imprint area is 8.5 inches.' It was clear that Wayne was focused on every detail, much like a carefully crafted cookie policy that ensures user data aggregation for an optimal website experience.
